Track is mostly a North American / Caribbean / East African business, because soccer is not the top sport there, so there is no drain of running talents.
Especially the running range 400-3000 m shows only 2nd-3rd tier global athletes. And field events follow the same path during the last 10 years. There is a slow, but steady decline of performances in the majority of events. Athletics is not a sport that would pay off to an athlete from an industrialized country.
has any of you counted how many women are on your college xc or track squads in comparison to men? there are pretty many opportunities for athletic women in this country, in comparison to others, and the same applies in different ways to the eastern bloc, which was influenced heavily by communist ideas of gender equality.

white women have better work ethic than white men...that, and they belive more. black americans, like Centro, also have greater belied, and that's why they account for the lion's share of the medals won in running events for the US...us throwers just medal because they have that fat gene and fat lifestyle that most nations don't.

Another factor may be that white females are more sociable than white males.They do not have the insecurity hangups that many white males exhibit.Sports are essentially social activities.The more sociable,the better the athlete.

This is all true. Plus, women weigh less than men, so if you divide their performance by weight, they are better pound for pound.
It is all very simple. And they give birth to human children, which makes them much tougher. When they feel pain from running, they just imagine giving birth to a human child, and the pain does not seem so bad anymore. This is very simple.
