Every Marathon and Half Marathon I have run, i never stop to go to the bathroom. I usually just let it trickle out into my shorts, and splash water on myself at the next water stop.
Does anybody else do this?
If I had to REALLY go, I would stop, but I never have a major urge during the race.

I did it once, but I would never make a habit of it. It happened to be at a half marathon on a very hot morning, so I was drinking tons of water. I probably would have still been okay, but I was running this race for the first time and was unfamiliar with the bathroom situation and how long I could wait before being in the starting area. So I played it conservatively and ended up getting there earlier than I probably needed to, but this meant that it was a solid 20 minutes from the last time I took a piss and when the race went off. The urge got strong around mile 7-8, and there was lots of water being sprayed onto the course through various means because of the weather. So I took advantage and did what I needed to do. It was a bit difficult to relax fully while I was running, but once I was done I felt tons better. No regrets!

Of course, if you do this, you better be sure you can outrun them.

I hear you Ax. I never plan on it, but it just seems to happen. I have been in similar situations feeling uncomfortable at the start without access to a toilet.
One time I pissed myself while on the treadmill at the gym...but I didn't get kicked out.

Damn right I'll piss myself. Tough to get it started on the run, but once you get the flow going no problems.
I had to piss so bad in Dunkin Donuts and leaked my pants before hitting the bathroom. 10 years ago, after getting drunk @ a running club party in Memphis (Hash House Harriers), I crashed & pissed the couch, then couldn't find the bathroom. Unable to hold it, I took a huge piss on the carpet & left.
