I'm a very mediocre runner (37 min 10K), and an above average golfer (6 handicap)....aside from the obvious fact that speed golf is a ridiculous "sport", I think it could be a lot of fun. Has anyone on here played? If so, what's the general strategy?
I assume it's best to only carry a few (5-6?) clubs and run comfortably hard (but not sprint) between shots? Maybe take a few extra seconds to hole as many short putts as possible?
A quick Google search indicates some guy shot a 5-under 65 in 44 minutes...which is pretty freaking awesome. I'm sure a lot depends on the course, but maybe I could break 90 in an hour? No idea really...
