And on the Women's side:
5 Colby

Williams is clearly superior to MIT. By a LOT. William's 5th returning runner was 34th at regionals, whereas MIT's 4th returning runner was 84th. I know MIT has an insane recruiting class, but freshmen can be hit or miss.
Williams will win regionals.
Bates and Midd will be solid, and should qualify baring a disaster. I see Tufts, Bowdoin and MIT fighting it out as sort of the next tier. I'll pick Tufts over MIT only because MIT's 4th returner was 84th, whereas Tufts' 5th was 68th. A lot will depend on MIT freshmen. If they have 2 frosh in the top 25, they can get second. If their frosh bomb, they may not qualify. I think Bowdoin could be a surprise people this fall. Rodlitz underated them for sure.
If I had to guess regional finish:
1. Williams
2. Midd
3. Bates
4. Bowdoin
5. Tufts
6. MIT
7. Brandeis
8. Conn
Williams should contend just based on depth, but look at what their top seven did in track last year
1 Koima OK
2 Ford Smith: No Track. Does he do another sport? He has only run like 2 seasons at Williams
3 Raduazo: Ran 2 5Ks and didn't break 15:30. Injured?
4 Wade Davis: Snuck under 9 in the 3k, but bad 5k times indoors. No outdoor. Injured?
5 Scott Rodlitz 9:10 in the 3k. No outdoor
6 Henry Koster 9:14 in the 3k. No outdoor
7 Mark Springel: No track
I actually didn't realize it was this bad before starting this post. Maybe this is a strategic move, but WTF is the deal here? Redshirts?
Anyway, I'm sure they'll be fine, but I don't think they're a class above the rest.
I think people would be horrified if they saw that bear under a black light.

Hahaha! The NESCAC is only two schools! All those other ones are terrible.
I heard there were some inappropriate coach-athlete relationships at a real NESCAC school. Maybe Williams. Can someone please expand.

Agreed. I've offered up my insightful and prescient analysis already. Who else out there dares hazarding a guess as to New England DIII XC results?
Word on the street is that Wesleyan is getting an Ethio fresh off the boat. And when I say fresh I mean FRESH, like 14:32 @ Addis. Their 5th man will still score like a thousand points and therefore sink their chances at a team bid, but this kid will fight the hoser and the Kenyan kid for the regional title.

Bowdoin'd fine flying under the radar, but they did crush Bates at the State meet, the would have been a shoe in for national is horowitz hadn't struggled, like really struggles, at regionals. Returning almost everyone and horowitz should be even stronger this year, along with a guy we have had training in kenya all of last year. Also i think bates is gonna struggle with one of their leaders being emotionally damaged:

Middlebury Results
- So from the looks of it Schmidt was just pacing Davies and enjoying the rolling greens of Dartmouth, but I was surprised by the following pack. From the looks of it they ran their top guys but the pack was no were near as strong as I expected... still early on
Bates and Colby Wave Race
- Seems like Bates used the wave race as a nice warm up, but not to sure what to make out of the times there. Dilts is strong and ran a very modest race by himself yet the pack behind was very tight...
MIT/Con - nothing shown yet.
Tufts/Bowdoin/Brandies -yet to race?
Any predictions for this weekend?
