I'm a longtime Pegasus wearer, 10+ years. Now suddenly I have a small problem with the Pegasus 27 pinching my big toe. I poke a hole through them before they reach end-of-life. Feels like they are a half-size too small. Any chance there are other Pegasus fans having the same problem? Tnx.
Peg 27 has had very good feedback on fit, however anomalies do sometimes occur in production on random shoes. Quality control at the factory is set up to catch these rare cases but every once in a while you'll have one slip by the goalie. You may have unknowingly bought one of these.
This is likely an inconvenience for you, but can you go back to the store that sold you the shoes to try on another pair of Peg 27's in the same size? It would be interesting to find out if another pair fit the same as your "short" pair or it they do fit true to size.
Have you tried to exchange them?
Thanks ssr. I don't regularly live in a place where I can easily buy them, so I currently have 3 pair of the 27 and I have the problem with all of them. Next time I will go for the 28 (or later issue). I'm too loyal to switch to something else just yet. :-)
Isn't the Pegasus 27 available in widths> I too had a problem with it's semi-narrow forefoot and just wore duct tape and body glide on my pinky toe. Eventually the stretched...
Wore them on my long run today. Awesome shoe.
The pegasus is straight tits. Wouldn't run in any other trainer.
