well that's a 5:29 for the next mile. couldn't have been working that much...
well you see i was tired during the second mile. that is why i felt like i was giving a lot of effort
Everyone is different (some people are much better time trialers than others). I would say 10:40 would be a good goal.
12:06. You seem like the kind of guy that will choke under the pressure of a race.
what makes you think that?

and that's why you'll never break 10:50
Seriously, I race about 20 seconds faster than I solo time trial, but I'm a miler who hates suffering alone for eight f---ing laps.
I would agree with the earlier poster and say you'd be able to run a 10:40, or pretty close to it. For high schoolers, if you add 20 seconds to your 1600 PR, and then double it, that'd be about what you could get for a 3200 PR. So if you have a 5:00 pr in the 1600, then add 20 seconds and double it (5:20 * 2 is 10:40 for 3200). Those are good times for a 14-year-old. Keep up the good work!
HAHA just kidding, you suck

Awesome.
im 14 and ran a 5:01 and put down a 10:39 but that was in 8th grade and im going into 9th now
was in about 10flat 2mile shape and i tried to do 2 x 3200m in 11:00 with 3:00 rest
went 10:59...5:29..2:46, quit w/ 800m to go because i was working too hard
So many variables here it's hard to say. 10:45 at the slowest would be my guess all else being equal (you feel the same in the race as you did during the TT, etc). Possibly as fast as 10:25 though. I did a TT on our 2 mile pre-season xc course in 10:56 and then "raced" it in 10:22 3 days later. Just having spikes and the nerves you get before a real competition can take quite a bit of time off. Like I say though, way too many variables here to give an accurate prediction.
so what you're saying is... he sucks
a 5:01 miler does not have the speed to drop a 10:25 just sayin
