Yes, another one of these...
I am a high school runner that runs 60-70mpw and is better at long distances with little natural speed. I have run very few VO2 max pace sessions, but plenty of tempos, over the summer while I train base for XC.
I just ran the following session:
2 x ( 1000, 600, 400, 200) with 200m jog between reps and 200m walk between sets.
3:23, 1:55, 74, 34 / 3:21, 1:53, 73, 33.
Now got two days of easy jogging and then 5km race.
Predictions?
