Occasion is a very nice restaurant. The pinstripe pants are navy. I'm thinking a navy (solid) blazer, and a white shirt, but don't just want to wear a white shirt. Maybe a checkered shirt? Maybe I should just drop the blazer and get a v neck sweater wear a striped shirt under it? Help me Letsrun!
1st, what is wrong with a white shirt? The tailored white shirt is a staple in any man's wardrobe.
2nd, if the pants are navy, do NOT wear them with a solid Navy blazer, you will look like a buffoon. If they are seersucker and happen to have Navy stripes, that is okay. Basically, if they appear more blue than white, do not wear them.
3rd, if you need to wear a blazer or a sportcoat, go with a different pair of pants.
4th, a checkered shirt with striped pants will make you look like a clown.
Honestly, if you are over the age of 14, you should know these things. Did you have a father?
