Has anyone here followed the training plans from Ron Daws book Running Your Best. If so, any thoughts, feelings, suggestions? Thanks.

I haven't had a chance to follow one of his plans yet (just discovered the book this year), but I liked the look of the plans and his philosophies behind them.
They looked like solid plans to me, FWIW.
Is he the same guy that wrote Self Made Olympian? That was an inspiring book.
Yes, same guy. Running Your Best is his second book, and has more of the nuts & bolts of training, plans for every ability level and race distance, etc.
Both are great books. Self-Made Olympian was extremely inspiring, and Running Your Best is equally good for it's training insights and wisdom, IMO. Both are really nice explanations of the Lydiard system, along with Daws' insights about how to implement it.
