Great footage of Skeets winning in about 2:08.5
Surreal to see Dave Cowens lumbering down the final straight in 2:26. (If there had been a loose ball tossed in front of him, he would have won.)

P.S. Highlight at 1:30 into the video.
Most of them should have been DQed for running inside the lane 1 line.
Anyone else notice how some of them are cutting the corner on the last straight. Without a proper curb, they were supposed to put cones on the inside border

To be more precise, I should have said 1:31 to 1:32, but I won't argue with 0:00 - 0:15.

You shouldn't be. The guy was a 44.x 400m man.
They'd have to go 6 yards farther on that track for a full half mile. Tack about 1.2 seconds onto their times.
Skeets had great form at that pace.
I haven't gotten past the first 15 seconds yet. Quite a top!
The 1:30 rack is quite nice.
