Wejo, I'm assuming you know her pretty well. I'm not accusing her of doping. But with any world record holder, the suspicion is there. The fact she's never run well in the Olympics doesn't help her case. What can you say to convince those with the "guilty until proven innocent" that Paula was/is clean.
She's incredibly outspoken against doping. It's unfortunate she hasn't performed up to expectations in the Olympics. But she's not a doper.

Tell "us" why she is a doper?
Show "us" your proof.
Tell "us" which legally recognized sports authority agrees with your claim.
2:15 is an even bigger joke than 9.58/19.19. The fact that Paula was outspoken against doping doesn't mean jack phucking shit.

It's funny because I think that is what helps her case. If she was cheating she would run well enough more consistently. Instead, like most of us her human fragility comes through-- she is able to set the world record one race, then blow up at other big races.
While this may not convince some doubters-- she has been very much against drug use/doping since well before she was famous. One could argue it is a rouse to mask drug use, but I do not think so.
Keep in mind that her WR is stronger on IAAF charts than 9.58, and that the next fastest woman is further behind than Tyson Gay is behind Bolt.
If you suspect Bolt and Africans, but you don't suspect Paula, that stretch of logic could be described a racist.
given all the discussion about others doping, the lack of discussion about the POSSIBILITY of Paula doping is extremely noteworthy----the 2:15 is such an outlier--especially considering her pre-marathon international career, which was world class but certainly did not portend anything near 2:15-----i am a white financial biz guy, and I hate those who come on here and say race is reason the Africans are suspected but Americans not, under similar improvement circumstances, but even I have to admit that i nthis case if Paula were African the situation re:suspicion buzz would be quite different-----I don't know the truth, but seriously guys, if this were anyone other than a Brit or an American, people would be including the 2;15 in the discussion of the Chinese women's records.......is it unintended racism, blindness to what is obvious, or is it real?--not sure

1--Paula's marathon performance wildly disproportionate to her pre-marathon track PR's --- "she found her event" = Armstrong's body changed due to cancer, less mass, but same engine, so that is why he is so much better post cancer

This actually helps her case that she is clean. An athlete who never has a down race or a bad day is much more suspicious than one who is always 'on'. Given how badly she wanted to win those games (especially in 2004 when she had basically been unbeatable for a few years prior) Assuming she knew she wouldn't be caught if she was going to dope to win that would've been the time.

Think wejo thought she was really tough, and a hard worker, and thus her times seemed legit. Who the F knows? She could have been dirty at times, while Bolt could be squeaky clean. She may never have taken anything stronger than ibuprofen, while running against people on designer drugs. We'll likely never know.

I have to say in the track world where many times it is you are guilty until proven innocent you do have to wonder why she is never brought up. Her time does bring up questions. When I look at the Chinese women I think yep they doped but why not Paula. I think the argument about Lance is true to just because she is outspoken doesn't mean anything. Also she hasn't done much of anything in many years. Seems like an awful sudden drop off after tests got better. HMMMMM
