when has he ever said anything about rupp either positive or negative?
he probably thinks rupp is a decent runner and all, but i doubt he talks about him at least not to the media.

His return means people like Mo farah, Rupp and Solinksy can just forget about the gold medal until at least 2016.
People keep raving about Rupp's finishing speed, but he aint gonna match up against Kenny B who can clock a 3:31 w/o any 1500m training.
of course he cannot run 3:31 w/o any 1500m training now.
However, neither Galan Rup nor Moh Fara have sufficient finishing speed to deny KB another gold. But in 2016, a new generation of US runners have entered the 10000m e.g. Centrovits!
The final result of the 10K is as follows.
1-Merga
2-Bekele
3-Sihine
u guys remember Paris 2003, When Gebreselasie passed the baton to Bekele in spectacular fashion?
This will be the moment Merga takes over from Bekele, and a new era of 10K domination will ensue.
No one else stands a chance. The fourth Ethiopian athelete, most likely to be Ibrahim Jeilan will be deployed as a pace maker, and the Ethiopian will blow everyone away.
Remember where u heard it first!!!
how do we even know that KB is in good shape? he hasn't raced at all as far as I am aware.

Exactly. It has been two years. Can he get back into racing shape until London 2012? I certainly think so. 2011? Doubt it.

Correct if I'm wrong but didn't bekele lap Rupp in a race before.
Yes, INDEED! Now the Craig Motram euphoria has shifted to Rupp.
Do you guys realize how pointless it is to post videos of Bekele running PB's and WR's like 5-6 years ago. We all know he is probably the GOAT over 5-10k. The debate is over what kind of shape he is in right now. I don't think anyone believes he is in WR shape so at best he will have to battle for any medal he gets. I don't think anyone knows what kind of shape he is in, but I assume he wouldn't try to compete unless he thought he could medal.
I predict he gets silver behind Farah and Rupp comes in 5th.
So will he run any races prior to worlds???

Maybe. I wouldn't be surprised either if Teg nails him from behind.
Interesting choice of words. What is this, LetsGAY.com?
Rupp was lapped last time but now he is juiced so he should win

Well, where?
here is z final entry for 10,000
kenenisa bekele
silishi sihene
iman merga
ibrahim jilane
lets give a chance for trio
silishi tadesse and mo
It was announced couple of days afo that both Sileshi Sihine and his wife Mrs. Tirunesh Dibaba are out of worlds.
FOR SURE SILISHI WILL THERE!
Galan Rup is not juiced. Neither is Cris Solinska.
They are just training hard and finally reaping the benefits.
(Reuters) - Ethiopian Olympic and world champion Kenenisa Bekele will defend his 10,000 meters world title later this month despite not having raced since early 2010, his manager said Tuesday.
"He is going to Daegu and (will) run. He is training well," Jos Hermens told Reuters in a telephone interview.
Bekele, 29, has never lost a 10,000 race on the track but his lack of competitive action means he will be under added pressure at the August 27-September 4 worlds in Daegu, South Korea .
His 12 victories at the distance since 2003 include two Olympic and four world titles along with two world records.
If Bekele wins in Daegu, he would become the first runner at any distance to win five consecutive outdoor world titles.
Only pole vaulter Sergei Bubka has more, claiming six in a row competing
Bekele ruptured a muscle in his right calf in February 2010 and has not raced since because of a variety of problems. His last race was in January of last year.
"He is quite fit but it is difficult to say what will happen, even for me, because he has not raced," said Hermens, a former world class runner.
Bekele was assured of wild-card spots as the world champion at 5,000 and 10,000 but whether he competes in both will be determined by how well he runs over the longer distance.
"Once it goes well, you never know, he might do everything. He has surprised me so many times," Hermens said.

Ethiopia has just wasted a spot with Mr. Sihine. They should have given it to one of the young and upcoming athletes.
SIHINE will be a favorite.
silver in 2008 - 10K
sub 13 sub 27 this year.
sharpening NOW
It should be a really really fun race.
4th Rupp a dark horse, who was not far behind Farah, and the same kind of quality in time trials, NOW. Bet Rupp for place and show if you get long shot odds.
3rd Bekele - never bet the farm on an athlete first race back from an injury. the exception is if you are his coach and watched a 12 x 1K = 2:26 workout go down last week.
2nd Sihine - time for this guy to take Bekele, he's in shape and been close many times in the past.

1st Farah - on a roll, best times, best finish.
2nd would probably be the best result for him going into London. England more than any other country kills their athletes through over the top analysis and pressure.
