A friend just told me about something that he picked up at Walmart. It completely changed my attitude about her. I wish I wasn't so judgemental, but I don't get it?
Walmart is horrible for our economy. I can't believe how narrow minded cheap people are.
Have quite a few friends that go there. I absolutely won't, but I don't hold that against them. I have literally only bought one thing from Walmart.
I love Chinese Shadow Conglomerates with white honkey yes-men and strings attached from Beijing at firms such as Home Depot, Target, Wal Mart, Pentagon, Pep Boys, ...
The price of a prescription is often much cheaper at Walmart than CVS. The one I go to they are a little nicer to deal with at Walmart too.

Everything is better at walmart. Only thing I don't get from walmart is clothes.
It is interesting when you look at wal mart and their roll in our world. Wal mart has killed tons of mom and pop stores but at the same time they have by themselves fought the credit card companies and charges which has greatly helped all companies.

Walmart, Target, Home Depot, etc. has taken out moms & pops on Main St. But Family Dollar, Dollar General, Dollar Tree are undercutting them now. And internet stores are undercutting the Dollar stores and rightfully so since they don't incur public infrastructure costs. That's how we do it in the USA. Markets evolve. That communist, Richard M Nixon tried price controls, they never worked, and he got bounced to hell.
I went into a WalMart for the first time in my life about a year ago. I had time on my hands doing errands so I thought I would just walk around the store for curiosity. Didn't buy anything. Frankly I wasn't that impressed.
There is nothing about Wal-Mart that resembles the FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM.

It is not picky. It is economics. Let me explain this to you in simple terms. It is better to pay your husband/wife $50 to mow your lawn than it is to pay a corporate lawn care company $25 dollars for the same job. IT KEEPS THE MONEY IN THE FAMILY. Most people understand that but have a tough time carrying that same logic from YOUR FAMILY TO your local businesses.

This is what the corporations are banking on. People have no idea how to save for something. I want it now. My grandfather is probably rolling over in his grave over how people spend today.
I agree. I enjoy paying more money for the same products from mom and pop shops, and making multiple trips to purchase them.
That way I'm worse off, but they are better off even though they provided me the same benefit at a much higher cost!
Similarly, instead of having my paycheck direct deposited into some large, faceless bank for free, I go down to the locally owned check cashing store and pay $40 to cash my check, then I just throw money out the window as I drive away.
I do these things because I am a very stupid person who does not understand that all businesses have the same goal, only some do it better than others, and those ones should be punished by me at my own expense. Again, I am VERY STUPID and have NO critical thinking skills at all.
