Will both Princeton teams defend their titles? Preditions for the top three teams? On the mens side, are there any individuals aside from Cabral, Leung, and Royer, etc. to watch out for? Who will be the top runners for Columbia/Cornell? Discuss.

Princeton will win Heps even easier than they did last year.
They have a legit 1 2 3 4 5 punch
1 Cabral (1st in 2010)
2 Leung (5th in 2010)
3 Speare (11th in 2009 didn't run in 2010)
4 Kaulbach (13th in 2010)
5 Arroyo Yamin (21st in 2010)
Dartmouth will be Princeton's closest competition but with Princeton's depth and incoming freshman class they will be hard to beat.
Where are the Heps going to be held??
Dartmouth site indicates Bostom/Yale has TBA
Sooo, NO Go on VCP??
other individuals?
ummm... ever heard of kyle merber?
franklin park this year
Princeton should be good for a few years. According to PrepGold.com they have the #2 distance recruiting class in the country (after Oregon). Recruits include:
Sam Pons (CA) - 4:10, 8:50
Matt McDonald (NJ) - 4;15, 9:04, FL Finalist
Connor Martin (IN) - 4:10; 9:00
Mike Mazzacarro (NJ) - 4:09, 9:02
Eddie Owens (NY) - 8:59/5:49 Steeples, FL Finalist
Funny how another thread with the same title started at the end of June by BRF... but hey, I guess it got lost in the masses.
Anywho, to quote my previous post on this topic:
"I thought Leung was a senior?
Unless someone else steps up, I see Donn Cabral grabbing the men's individual title again.
After her amazing outdoor season, I'm calling Abbey D'Agostino (D) for the women's individual win. Alex Banfich (Pr) will be a close second though.
I don't think the Princeton women will be as strong as they were last year, as they graduated Sarah Cummings and Ashley Higginson. Perhaps Cornell can sneak in there?
Meanwhile, Harvard has some good recruits coming in, particularly Billy Orman is headlining the group.

Looking at the 2010 Heps Results and adding in these 4 runners who were in the top 30 in 2009 but didnt run in 2010 but are returning for 2011 season.
2009 Results:
08 SR Kyle Merber COLUMBIA
11 SR Rob Speare PRINCETON
23 SR Sean Wilson PRINCETON
28 SR Andy Buchanan COLUMBIA
Assuming these 4 finish similar to their competition. You re-score the 2010 Heps results to get a rough estimate where the top 3 teams stand. Again alot changes when race day comes around Freshman/Injuries/Weather/Will to Win but it can give you a good pre-season starting point.

Pretty sure the meet will be at Princeton.

With whom?
What happened with the meet vs. Cambridge and Oxford?
Columbia Women:
-Returning #1 from last year, Caroline McDonough
-returning 4/7 runners total(all of which were sophomores)
-amazing incoming freshmen Waverly Neer, Kaylin Mahoney, Aryn Foland
Columbia Men:
-returning: #3 runner who was a freshmen
-also very good recruiting class( look for them to be great in 2 years)
Van Cortland isn't in good shape and the rumor is the Harvard coach forgot to reserve the park.
