I am slowly trying to get back into shape now at age 29 after a five year layoff from competitive running. I have been putting in several 40-50 mile weeks and now am going to step things up big time.
Tomorrow at midnight until 4am Friday morning I will run at least 100 miles and drink at least 100 beers. The beer drinking is absolutely no problem. The miles will be a challenge but I know I will accomplish it.
For those who will ask, my PR's are 1:50, 3:50 and 14 high 5k from 2006. I am currently nowhere even close to that shape but I certainly can drink a lot and enjoy doing fun challenges like this.
I will post updates here at least once a day when I start.
