I don't mean to sound like a critical asshole, but her college PBs were pretty slow. I mean, Iowa is a BCS school in the Big 10. I'm not trying to hate on her, I was just surprised by that.

Agreed, I'm impressed that a linebacker can even run 3.1 miles, what with the 300 pounds of muscle he had to drag along, not to mention the fact aerobic training probably isn't part of the typical footbal training repetoire. As for his wife, her time is respectable for a woman of her age, though much slower than what I would expect from a former D1 runner. Still not quite "slow as shit" though.

And Greenway doesn't weigh anywhere near 300 lbs. He's a linebacker. 242.
Yeah, 23:44 isn't bad for a guy who probably weighs 250+ in the offseason and does almost no aerobic training. Not an embarrassing result at all.
You know what WOULD be really embarrassing? Watching some of you 16-min guys who think you're such badasses go out and play linebacker in an NFL game. Death would probably be the result. Fact: Chad Greenway is better at 5k running than you would be at playing linebacker in the NFL.

Chad Greenway is from Mount Vernon, SD (pop. 300). Around the same area Mike Miller of the Heat is from. He is the state record holder in the long jump I believe and also holds or held the record for 3 pointers in a state tournament. He played QB for MV and linebacker in 9 man football. He is a great guy, bought all the athletic teams for MV nike uniforms and also holds camps in the area. All of this makes him a legend in South Dakota. I think he weighed about 170 tops in HS. He has bulked up crazy gains.

Maybe 170 as a sophomore or something. He was around 200 when he got to Iowa. He's a total freak, probably the best all-around athlete I have seen play football at Iowa.
He plowed a chick I knew at Iowa, that wasn't his wife.
