There I said it. Even cutting off Rowbury and Simpson!

i agree. she ran with heart.
Grrrrrrr, I was really hoping she placed 3rd after going out so strong.
WTF?! This ain't a punt return! Stay in your lane!
Idiot. you don't have to win by 70 meters; you have to be in the top three.
She needs to learn to relax or at least watch some vids of Paula Ivan from '88. Always looks constipated while running.
That was a hell of a race. She went for it hard--sub-63 for the first 400m. Wow. I hope she gets into some good races and has a great season in Europe. She's gotta be in just about 4-flat shape in a perfectly paced rabbited race.
What was the flag about? Simpson probably ran into WT cause WT was starting to move sideways. Then she kept moving out cutting off Rowbury. If Rowbury had been 4th I think WT should have been DQ'd.
she looked like she either really tied up, or cramped up bad, or maybe both, I couldn't tell. she really goes for it though, gotta give her that.
GUTs....deserves to go...darn it

She clearly doesn't deserve to go. I respect the effort and guts, but only being able to hold on for ~1300m and then cutting across 2nd and 3rd runners at the end is not exactly smart racing.
KICK ASS good job WT!!!!!!!!!! She should be designated the rabbit for ALL of the mens races because they all run like bitches
It was hard to see exactly when she crossed the 800, but it was about 2:07, which was way too fast. She's not going to run a 3:55 on a windy day. Still a really gutsy effort, obviously.

62 and 2:08.33? I think.
64 and 2:08/9 would have been awesome.
I was hoping CWT would win, major props for the pace.
Ulceny is impressive.
Why is Wurth Thomas' stupid race and better than Wheating's stupid race?
You don't get points for running a non sustainable pace. She may have gotten outkicked with a "normal" pace anyway considering Simpson, Uceny and Rowbury all can close well but a long sustained drive over the final 700m would have made more sense.
she also pulled the other girls to the A standard... only CWT and Morgan had it... a better strategy would have been not to pull 2 other girls to the standard. weird.
Christin the race like it is supposed to be run. I am tired of slow, middle and long distance races only for a kick at the end. If more races were run like Christin ran, there would be a lot more interest in middle and long distance races.
Christin only mistake was drifting out of the inner lane in the last few meters of the race. A typical mistake, that someone with her experience and coaching should not make.
Christin ran balls (ok ovaries) to the wall. Was a pleasure watching the race. Unlike the men's race, pathetic.
Peace
Christin the race like it is supposed to be run. Really? That's why she will be watching the worlds on TV.

going out at a suicidal pace is nothing to applaud. If this were a high school race she would be torn apart for being naive.
Maybe go out and run 64 evens and have something coming home.
She's mighty talented, it was just a shame to see her run like a 7th grade girl.
I admire her guts to push from the start, but she ran like a dumb high school freshman. Pretty much every step she took from the gun got slower and slower, and It was pretty obvious she was having trouble holding on with still 500 to go. Now if she relaxed a little going 64.xx and 2:10 she could of probably held on for the win.
