That's what I heard at 1:07 in this interview, maybe i'm just misunderstanding, but that seems like a very very unusual comment to make.

That was the funnest thing i've read on LR in awhile. Thank you for that.
He is talking about racing period, not Gatlin in particular. You can't focus on what other people are doing, who you think is dirty and who you think is clean. It doesn't matter on race day. You have to show up ready to race anyone who lines up.
Lol.
Come on "David," we all know it's you, Larry.
Dix has always struck me as a big dummy that doesn't get it- talented yes- too big and dumb to get anything else....also yes.
he has the balls to call it like it is..I do think he meant Gatlin, and the Jamaicans..and is he doped, I don't think so..his PR's are not showing that of a doper, like some unknown Jamaicans running 9.80, and another running 9.59..Jamaica doesn't have a concrete doping agency and many have been caught and not punished like the US sprinters..just call em like it is..
Dear David C.,
That was hilarious. Thank you oh so much.
Thats how I feel about my Yankees! If they ain't cheatin they aint't tryin!

Read the whole post before reacting! If you don't...you'll miss the clue..so don't overreact before you actually see what I mean!
'looking at his PR's he's most likely not doping'??? That's the most ignorant post I've read on this subject so far. Bolt uses because he runs 9.5?? No..Bolt is the only sprinter ever to bring such a build to the starting line. almost 2meters in lengt with the stride frequency only guys 20cm shorter can manage. If any of you would ever have been on a training ground with this guy, you wouldn't talk this kind of sh*t. The kid was around already when he was 15 years of age for cryin out loud.
Now let's speculate, since that's what this board is all about:
If we're going to talk suspicion; what about a certain Tyson Gay who didn't show up in Europe (rigorous testing)for the whole season, goes off to run in a place like Clermont (no testing) for NO money and then suddenly pulls out of the nationals (avoid testing) because of an 'injury' which was already there for the whole season and didn't hinder him in running 9.79, now did it..??
That must be a clear indication that he's dirty, he can't be really injured because of him putting his body to the wringer every time he steps on a track.
You wanna talk some more suspicion? Ok, let's go and talk about all these college footballplayers aged 18 and 19 who come back to run track every now and then and run 10 low or even sub 10 and are off WADA's and USATF radar if they are in football season. Changing their bodies completely in one summer and pack on 10kg more muslcle mass in 3 months, on a frame which normally is in peak shape at age 25. And we all know what Football testing is about...that excists only on paper. And how many of that guys have got any longivety in their carreer?? Oh yeah...NONE...because you can only maintain your steroid added muscle by....YES...keep on doing the dope. Seen how many footballers turned trackathlete dissappear within 1-2 years after rising to (sub)elite level?? Those are all big indications somethings wrong here...because those guys can't make more money in the NFL then in running track, they just play football to avoid tracks waterproof testing system. They would like to run track, but they can't...what a shame...
Then there's Dix, the new US double sprint chamion, talking big things about beating this and that guy and more of that bla bla. A fulltime athlete with a muscle definition you would expect from a 37 year old father of three with a full time job. Got problems maybe in getting rid of the fluid which occurs while doing testosterone based stuff? That must be it, since all people have the same body type and all elite athletes have a fat% far below 8%.
Since this is a distance forum; let's speculate some Alan Webb. From a worldbeater to an also ran in the span of 2 years? Come on..that has CERA written all over it...nothing more, nothing less, can't be just injury or personal problems. Maybe add a little THG as well to complete the image! Geeezzz, that was one dirty MF!
If you guys want to speculate; take ALL facts into account, and not only the facts that come handy to you.
There's the possibility to make up a story on all active athletes considering doping, but what good does that do for the sport?
Enjoy the rest of the season.

Are you refering to Demps? How does he not get the "he was already fast when he was x years old" free pass you used for Bolt. Demps made the final of the Olympic Trials and nearly ran sub-10 (10.01 world junior record) while he was still in high school. He was actually faster than Bolt was at his age.
Just like I thought would happen; you don't grasp what I mean with this post. All examples I posted are exact the kind of speculations this board got sidelined for with the real fans. All I wrote are assumptions, nothing more, which I meant ironically to point out that you can find doubtfull things in every athlete around if you're a sceptic individual. The continous fingerpointing (especially at sprinters) is based on sh*t and most people who do post this nonsense have never ran a 100 in their life, let alone at some decent level.
I don't believe age has anything to do with doping. I'm from Texas and high schoolers dope early. When you have a freshmen that is too massive for a 14-15 yr old body, runs, 10.45 with no competition, it is very bad. Plus, all the acne on the body doesn't help. When you are a doper, you are a doper. If the stuff is available you are going to use it no matter the age. I know guys who couldn't make it past their freshmen yr. in college because they got flagged. Doping happens at all ages and yes, when you are 19 and put on 25-30lbs over the summer, it is very suspecious.
