Five Mexican soccer players, including their star Goalie Guillermo Ochoa who is in all the commercials, were suspended and sent home from the Gold Cup for testing positive for the banned anabolic agent clenbuterol. The Mexican Federation says the players ingested the substance in tainted chicken.

This one's interesting because they're based all over, some in Europe and some in Mexico, and would have only come together as a team in the last week or two. Hard to believe they were following a strict national team-enforced doping policy, because their main obligations are to their club sides, which likely vary in their monitoring of the players' substance use.
Perhaps that lends credence to the tainted chicken theory?
Based on the fact that Germany already accused Mexico of having tainted meat containing this chemical 2 months ago and the players have various base locations, I actually believe this is an accident.

I read the five cuates that tested positive play for teams in the Mexican league - or at least 4 of them, can't remember correctly... and I'm pretty sure mexico's league finished the season a while ago and they've been training together with the national team since then. The main reason I think it's an accident is the goalkeeper; makes no sense for the goalie to dope with clerenbutol or whatever. The second is that the cuates don't need no doping to face the caribean island nations they usually face in this golden cup, but if they are already thinking about the Copa America in Argentina... well, then that's another story.

Tainted meat was Alberto Contador's semi-successful tactic (so far) for getting around a non-negative test for Clenbuterol in last year's Tour de France.
Anyone who tests positive for Clenbuterol will use this tactic until it proves unsuccessful.
