1. Ulrey (nasty kick, and also ran 3:35 when to qualify for WC in '09) 2. Centro (another nasty kick, cruised way under 2:00 for the last 800 of the regional prelim) 3. Batty (still don't know how he runs that fast with that body and that form) 4. Acosta (good kick, comes on strong at end of season)
It's all about the kick in elite 1500's.

On a serious note, I think we might see a faster race this year. Someone might try a German and run away from the field, but it's too recent for the field to let anyone open up that kind of gap. I think Ulrey wins it all – he's fast and can close at any pace. Centro's kick edges Batty in the last 100.

Finally Ulrey wins a tactical race. He kicks at 300 to go instead of with 150 to go when everyone else can kick in a slow race...Of course I am completely biased being here in AR though...I am thrilled Phillips is considered in the hunt, but he has a great shot next year- not this year.
