An incredible run by the American to show he is back in form beating athletes like Lopez Lomong, Kaki, and more! Definately a good bet to place in top 3 at USATF 800m or other races in the future. A great run.

A huge pat on the back to Khadevis.
Last year he was relegated to rabbiting these races. I was hoping that didn't signal the end of his career but he must have decided to take the money in a non championship year.
Last week he was in the "B" 800 at Occidental.
Tonight he destroyed the field with many of the World's Best the last 100m.
Props to Robinson the 800 is getting deep.
Definitely a terrific race. I thought that he might have it in him. It is worth remembering that he has been coached/mentored by Johnny Gray, who performed well into his late thirties. Not sure if they still have that relationship.
Great job on the run. However, why is he in Rome when he is a coach at UNLV with athletes competing this weekend in Oregon?
there was an article on khadevous robinson in i think track and field news where he said that he expected to be better this year than last because he now has a coaching job at university of las vegas and now he has access to facilities and things he didnt have even as a top notch athlete.
i am sure i am not wording how he said it right, but it was a good article.

I don't believe he was in the "B" heat at Occidental.. they supposedly set them up to be 2 equal heats.
Gray's boys are looking good. Agreed 800 is toughening up big time for the U.S.. JG's record could even start getting a drive-by in the next few years.
Cory Primm would have won this race.
So screw L.A. based runners like Primm and KD. Eugene is the only Track Town USA !
Great run by KD. It's great for the younger gen to have someone with his experience staying in the sport and leading by example.
It should be noted that the only reason he was rabbiting last year was due to illness and not being able to recover/back up after hard races and workouts. He still had to put food on the table for his family, so rabbiting some race was a way to do this and not something he really planned on doing. Keep in mind he rabbited the 100m at Pre to 800 in 1:45 mid, so he was probably in 1:44 high shape last year.....but he felt flat for days after it and decided not to run The US champs.
KD was coach by Johnny, but has been coaching himself for the last few years (still using the same system).
wow he rabbited a 100m? He must be a rocket LOL
start studded?
Also, start studded is my way of saying star studded, I know a little confusing but that's just the way I say it.

KD passed the entire field the last 250. Watch the video. He was in last and ends up first.
DFL with 300m to go. That was sweet.
Good to see that Khadevis still has it. That was quite the move between 250 and 150 to go, then he had another gear to blow the doors off in the final stretch. I'm surprised the rest of that group and the likes of Lalang, Yego, Kiprop etc. could hardly muster anything better or much under 1:46 ... hopefully Khadevis will continue to mix it up with the top dogs this summer.
anyone that tries to take anything away from KD because the time wasn't blazing fast did not watch the video. dude blew the doors off guys like lalang, kiprop and mulaudzi in the last 200 after being DFL with 300 to go.
incredible race by KD and i would put my money on him to make the world team this year
to the OP- you mention him beating lopez lomong and kaki, neither of which (to my knowledge) were in this field
