Cities/regions with the best year-round weather?

San Diego

dude Im right with you, I live in central Indiana and it seriously sucks here weather wise.

I will be the third poster to mention San Diego, I have never been there, but I have heard about its great weather, and everytime I check the weather there it is like a low of 50 or a high of 70. If I were to move somewhere based purely off the weather that would probaly be it

I have lived in many places in my 24 years in the Navy, including six years in San Diego. When it comes to year round weather for running, San Diego was by far the best. No extreme temps and low humidity. I miss it a lot.

But, I also love the climate in Monterey. I'm not a big beach guy, so the climate in northern California near Monterey is terrific too.

Best bet if you don't mind wet winters would definitely be Western WA/OR. Much of coastal CA is similar (though 90+ degree days are much more frequent in the summer there) if wet winters was an issue. To me, it's seemed like Utah had more drastic changes in weather.

In general, the closer to the ocean you are the more stable the weather is. This is especially the case for Western WA/OR because of the Cascade mountain range, which is why I would recommend that first and foremost if you don't mind wet winters. Might want to check out areas such as the Puget Sound region in Washington, or the Portland-Vancouver area, or Eugene. Lots of places to run around those cities, they are big enough cities to find a good amount of employment opportunities, nearby universities if you need to take any more classes, and they are all among the most temperate cities in North America.
