He doped. They all doped. Lance is still the best, because everyone was and still is doped and he beat them. I don't mind, it's still exciting to watch. All his former teammates accusing him also doped. In the long run, nobody cares, and Lance will never go down because Livestrong does too much good to fall with Lance's house of cards.

I was hoping it was a more reliable teammate. Hamiliton reminds me of Canseco. Little respect, even though he might be telling the truth.

Of course he is telling the truth. For God's sake this is like birthers saying until I have actual footage of Obama coming out of an American vagina holding an American flag singing the star spangled banner that I won't believe he is American. The circumstantial evidence around Lance's doping is so overwhelming it is getting ridiculous. I am watching just see who will still refuse to believe it.

What does a guy have to gain by claiming he cheated? Why would he ruin his own legacy?

The idea that a clean rider would come out and say he used EPO is pretty funny. The logic involved is so convoluted and backwards...

No one lies to say they WERE a cheater. People lie to say they WEREN'T cheaters.

If you can rationalize it in your mind that someone would purposely sabotage/ruin/destroy their own career, to LIE about taking EPO and testosterone, and whatever else, when they were clean all along... then you've got to seriously work on your critical thinking skills.

He is a weasel. And I have no doubt that Lance will point out, correctly, that Tyler Hamilton has lied to many, many people. He has also hurt a lot of people, including the poor saps who trusted him and provided money to fund his frivolous defense against doping charges. But I'm glad to see that he's finally coming clean, at least a little, about some of this stuff.

I wonder if Tyler has admitted that he doped for the 2004 Olympic Games and, if so, whether his gold medal will be taken away. Of course, it might be hard to find someone in that race who was plausibly clean. Perhaps the medal should just be auctioned off by the IOC or sold for its value on the metals [sic] market.

the guy got caught multiple times cheating and is on an 8 year ban for doping. he's already admitted to doping. now he's writing a book. that's why these guys talk, to sell books.

Frankie Andreu told me the same story as Tyler.

That whole interview, TH was shaking his head "no" when saying that LA doped - obvious signs of lying. Also, it took him 2-4 seconds to answer the questions after biting his lip and shaking his head. Signs of deceit and guilty feelings about lying.

Same as Frankie and Floyd said. Perhaps Hincappie is next. Not looking good for Lance; should have done the Oprah confession.

The best dopers never test positive. Barry Bonds...Marion Jones...both never tested positive.

I\'ve always found it interesting how cyclists under Lance\'s teams always test clean...until they get away from that inner circle and move on to a different team...then they get busted.

The likely scenerio is either 1). Lance\'s team of \"coaches\" and \"doctors\" knew how to tweak and mask substances better than the others. IE: Knowing an athlete\'s biochemistry enough so that they test under 50% hematocrit everytime....even 49.999999 is legal accordig to le Tour. or 2) Lance and his team owners knew who to pay off. Let\'s face it....Lance MADE the Tour what it is today. He made it interesting to Americans. He brought in TONS of sponsorship money to the tour. He was the face of the Tour for 7 years. When push comes to shove you make sure that cash cow is happy.

This is kind of like baseball. Everyone was doing it, so who really cares. Lance can't come out and say he doped because then he really looks bad. I think it is hypocritical of baseball to blackball guys like Bonds, Sosa, and Mcquire. They raked in tons of cash when they knew they were doping. Cycling got back on the world map thanks to Lance, and now some want to see him go down.

I can't believe there are still people out there that think Lance was clean, even for a minute.

It's been a long time since a tour winner was clean, doesn't make it right, Lance is still a liar.

Come on, as long as there are people willing to believe the world will end (or start ending) this Saturday, that Obama was born in Kenya, that Wanjiru committed suicide, that Saddam was stockpiling WMD, and basically that anything in the Bible is not made up, OF COURSE there will also be idiots believing that Lance was clean. Hell, they thought Landis was clean until it couldn't be denied anymore (because his Mennonite morals would never allow him to lie and cheat, or whatever BS people were posting here back in those days.)
