Aisling Cuffe ran a 9:56.16 3200 Friday, evenly splitting 4:58-4:58 for a NY State Record and #4 All-Time mark!
She then came back this morning to run a 4:40.56 1600! Very impressive double.

That's not really a 'double' is it? Aren't doubles in HS considered to be on the same day?
That being said, STELLAR times! What an amazing talent this young girl is proving to be! She is Jordan Hasay-caliber and hopefully has a good transition into college next year.
The loss has inspired her.
She might not be the fastest in HS this year.
Wow, that's fantastic! Great job Aisling! I can't wait to see her go up against Maddie Meyers in the Dream Mile. I'm a fan of both athletes, so I hope they push each other to break 4:40!
Not 100% sure, but I don't think Aisling Cuffe (or Mary Cain) will be in the Dream Mile because it conflicts with the NY State Meet. I know this was the case last year...
... speaking of her transition to college:
does anyone have any insight into what approach they take out there, and how effective they have been, at handling that transition, especially for girls?
