Isn't your best marathon barely sub 3?

Yep. 2:55. I did run that marathon that day as I was building up toward a 50 miler, but I did NOT treat it as a training run...I did try my best. I could just never put together a good marathon. People with my 10k and 5k PRs often run 2:30ish and even into the 2:20s, but for some reason, I never did a good one. I've run 7 marathons (5 of them were serious attempts), and 2:55 was the best I could muster.
I'm probably not going to run another marathon...old hat and just not interested in them anymore.
Biggest mileage week = 72
I have no desire to ever do more. I don't understand how anyone could have time for more. I thought 72 was more than enough. It served my purposes well and got me to sub 15:20 in the 5k and under 1:12 in the half-marathon. That was good enough for me.
Depends...
100 on a mon-fri structured week (5 times... all in the last year)
109 on a sun-sat structured week (this year)
51.5
82. Felt pretty good...but only one speed workout was in the mix.
I had a 7 day stretch of 88, my best monday to sunday week was 84 (covering 6 of those 7 days)
Followed that up with a month of 0 because I messed myself up running way more than I was ready for.
