I notice that when I am running higher mileage it takes me longer to warm up. My legs feel tired and don't start feeling some "life" until 20-30 minutes into the run, so it takes me around 30 minutes to just "warm up" whereas I think before after 20 minutes I would be feeling warmed up. I also noticed this when I did a tempo run. I ran the tempo portion and the cooldown at a faster pace than last month but the warm up was 2 minutes slower (so my overall pace for the whole run was the same). Does it just take longer to warm up because I'm more tired?
