Hello, my old marathon racing/training shoe was the old Adizero Ace (the red and gold ones (which I wish I had bought about a dozen pairs now), after putting about 700 miles on them they are starting to fall apart so I had been searching for a replacement... first I tried the asics hyperspeed 4, they felt great but seemed a little long for my feet and I was getting blisters, then I decided to try the upsated Ace 3. I wore an 8.5 in the old ace so I tried 8.5 in the new ones... The updated shoe is just terrible, I feel like it has no "pep" to it and the road feel is garbage...plus it seems like they made the toe box a little higher and the toe length a little longer. I'm sure an 8 would fit much better, but the feel just doesn't compare to the response of the older ace. That being said, I decided to go with the Adios as a replacement. I bought an 8 and 8.5 from RW (my foot measures an 8.5 officially) and I found the width while laced normally on the 8.5 was perfect, but again, the shoe just felt too long in the toebox (I have a wider food so that might have something to do with it). The 8 fit perfect lenthwise, but if I laced it normal it was too right in the forefoot. If I loosed the lacing it's absolutely perfect... I was just wondering if anybody else has run into this problem with the 2011 adizero line, as I have always worn an 8.5 in adizero (except the RC, which I wear a 9 in for some reason).
