also, look out for princeton, amirault's quickly becoming a bonafide stud, and with cabral and van ackeron these guys could do some serious damage

Thanks for the vote of support for BYU in the 4 x mile, but they are only running in the DMR and the 4 x 800, but Batty will be the anchor in the DMR. Where's the best place to get an authentic Philly cheese steak?

The two famous places, Pat's and Geno's, are not that great. Though Pat's is better than Geno's. Ask a local for the the best place... I think the name of the place I went to that was really good was Steve's Prince of Steaks. But that was years ago. Also, it was on the far NE side of town. Best to ask the natives.

Channon from PC is redshirting. IIRC he ran unattached at Mt. SAC. So Providence may not be as loaded as originally thought.

Took a 6 day prettymuch all cheesesteak trip to the Philly area a while ago. I had a local friend with a car drive me so I'm not sure how these mesh with Franklin Field since we were based outside of Philly. Cosmi's Deli, 1501 South 8th Street is the place to head for IMO. It is located about a block from the Pat's& Geno's corner.Others in the area that were worth a trip.Steve's Prince of Steaks 7200 Bustleton Avenue Tony Luke's, 39 East Oregon Avenue-great roastpork too Dalessandro's, 600 Wendover Avenue. A UPenn campus street foodcart called Frida's is often mentioned too. We never found it.Doing the Pat's v. Geno's one at each taste test is the classic way to go. This requires two visits one to do Pat's then Geno's and one Geno's then Pat's. Wimp out and go with a friend and do a half each at each place.

Aside from Finnerty, who are these guys? Rucks has run 3:43 or so and also finished 5th at Big Tens in the mile, Hatz ran 4:02/4:03 a couple of times on flat tracks indoors and finished 6th Big Tens, Shields ran a 4:05 mile on a flat-200 indoors; Mellon has run 1:47, finished fifth in the 800 meters at the NCAA Indoor and run 3:46 so far outdoors.

I got to think that Oregon can go a lot faster than 16:09, and Indiana and Penn State could muster better marks as well.

Also I agree Oregon/Indiana/PSU could be faster.this is purely based on 2011 individual marks doesnt take into account runner's splits/2010 recognition.

Here's a question, who runs Arkansas' anchor? Ulrey or Phillips? Ulrey has been the anchor for the past 2 and a half years on pretty much everything, but Phillips has a 3 second faster season PR, with the 3:39 vs Ulrey's 3:42 two days ago

Cheesesteaks are good, but make sure to go to Tony Luke's and get a roast pork w/broccoli rabe. Great sandwich and to me is right up there with cheesesteaks and soft pretzels as a Philly thing.
