What are his flat times?

are there updating results anywhere?

1000-2:34
1600-4:26
2mile-9:08
5,000-14:49
2,000m Steeplechase - 6:00
Half-Marathon - 1:07:38 -
A 9:08 two mile might indicate that this guy is a steepler, although note that his 2000SC was exactly on pace with his 3000SC, so may be some PRs are 'long in the tooth'

Thanks!

This is the perfect example of what constitutes a steeplechaser. Sign em up. -
Has high school outdoor track started in NJ and the NE? I haven't seen any news about the Rosas, Cheserek, Elkaim and all the other distance guys from over there.
-
Talk about a strength runner. Sick run.
-
Daniel Komen ran 8:54 steeple at age 17. So - hey he's keeping good company!
-
Cheserek is on the start list for the 5000m at that same meet (Larry Ellis at Princeton) later tonight.

When was the last time a high schooler broke 9 in the steeple?

According to this http://www.trackandfieldnews.com/lists/display_list.php?list_id=34&sex_id=M&year=2008 it was 1979
But they're definitely not fully current as I see Finnerty's mile is missing from the list -
I think the last sub 9:00 HS steepler was Karl Van Calcar the national record holder around 1982 or 83.
-
8:50.1 Jeff Hess (South, Eugene, Oregon) 1979
8:52.6 Jim Shields (Chaminade, Mineola, New York) 1976
8:56.9 John Gregorek (St Anthony, Smithtown, New York) 1978
8:59.53 Eddie Owens, Packer Collegiate, NY, NY)
9:02.56 Noel Bateman (Aquinas Institute, Rochester, New York) 2006
9:03.79 *Andy Martin (North Hunterdon, Annandale, New Jersey) 1984
9:05.6 Karl VanCalcar (Edmonds, Washington) 1983
9:06.2 John Gustafson (South, Eugene, Oregon) 1976
9:06.60 John Martinez (North Rockland, Thiells, New York) 2005
9:07.02 Pat DuPont (Fairport, New York) 2008
9:07.1 Garth Morrisette (Springfield, Oregon) 1982
The way I see it, he's not your typical high school Manchild that is the result of precocious puberty. This one is still a kid. Lot's of upside for him, in a big way.

The T&FN website lists him at 9:05 in 1983... Not sure what criteria they use to determine what counts since Finnerty's mile (post-season w/rabbits) apparently doesn't count, but Webb's mile (mid-season w/rabbits) and German's 2mile (post-season w/out rabbits) both do. So maybe Van Calcar ran that in a race that T&FN doesn't recognize as a high school race for record-keeping purposes? -

List fixed for yet another high schooler throwing down on Princeton's track this year. -
Looks like a Princeton guy lost to one of their recruits. EMBARRASSING.
-
The funny thing is, I bet the OP wouldn't have said anything if he had run 9:00.
