Why would you start this thread and not say how many you can do? You're a mess.
I can do somewhere between 15 an 120
Do you allow resting in the "up" position, or do you require fairly-continuous motion?

That's what I asked your mom last night!

What'd she say?
(by the way, that's pretty gross. My mom is dead. But whatever floats your boat.)
At least 2.
I LOL at that...AND read it to my 73 yr old mom. No kidding.
Anyway...40.
I hate the things, but last summer I worked up to 80 (no stops) then got bored. 100 seems doable, mayube this summer I'll give it a go (or maybe twice my age of 54)
Good question. Let's find out...
68. Started hurting after 45.
Actually kind of surprised I can do more than 30-40. Mostly just been running the last several months w/ no strength training.
46 just now.

Well?
Using strict form (Army rules). 78 in 2 minutes. Non-stop? About 50.

That's hot.
125 when rested, if I've done pushups in the past few days, fewer
Seven
How can one know how many they can do? You can only know how many you have done on any given occasion. Can you really assume that the most that you have done on a given occasion is equivalent to the number that you are capable of doing? I don't think so.
Alan, where did you go for basic?
No clue, I lifted a lot the past 2 days and have been just doing a set after a set of abs.
Over the summer I would tack on 60 after an ab set and so 2-3 sets per day. Atm im outta shape so started at 30 and upped it by 1 each day. Up to 37 now. Ill probably hit about 60-70 then only add 1 every 2 days or so.

Alan you seem like a fitness guru, would you still consider it non-stop if you rest in the leaned back position with your head tucked in (if anyone knows what i mean)?
65 and hoping to get to at least 75
