Flat course, 3k. Runs about 3 miles 3-4 days a week, spring & fall. Plays other sports winter/summer. 4 cross country races per year the last 3 years.
Parents are dead, so no Dad running directly behind him screaming at him. Races are fun to him.
Kid is from a small town, so there isn't much competition to judge his performaces against. Hasn't developed physically yet, I'd guess weighs 70 pounds.
