Justin Gatlin ran 20.36 for 200 at UF yesterday with a 3.4 tailwind. Finished second by a few thousandths to Florida alum Willie Perry. Promising start, but realistically what do you think of his chances of making a comeback (he's 29 by the way)?
Demps by the way ran 9.96 to win the 100 with a 2.4 tailwind.

Willie Perry is definitely not a UF alum.
Willie Perry is most definetly from UF, a 6time all-american at that. This was his first 200m race in yrs...we see you Perry. Keep it up!!

Gatlin ran 10.06 last year. Here is a list of all of his races last year:

His only 200m was a 20.63 into a .1 wind. I'm not sure what the 20.34 would be equal to without the tailwind.

According to USATF he ran a legal 20.49 in St. Kitts a couple of weeks ago.
Anyone else find it suspicious that Gatlin spent a few days down in St Kitts where 25 years ago Ben Johnson used to go to get his drug intake in the early season?

Its seeing people like Gatlin back racing and being accepted in the sport AGAIN after his second infraction is why people like Solinsky, Ritz, Webb, Barringer, Willard etc continue raise questions with me.
Not that i believe he was innocent but in his defense the first infraction was due to his ADHD medicine that he had taken since he was a kid. So according to the rules he got screwed. But lifetime bans provided reliable testing should be the norm.
Nobody runs sub 20 then starts doping.
Even if he did how does talent balance up against cheating?

Sorry, Gatlin. 3.4 is a lot of wind. And sub-20 ain't what it used to be. In case you haven't heard, there is a Jamaican fella out there who runs more than a second faster than that, wind-legal.
Perry transferred from UF before he received his degree. He did attend UF but did not graduate from UF. I believe that is what CoachK was referring. You may also kindly pack your bags and remove yourself from the message board.
