So, I had a recent discussion with a buddy of mine about luck. He says that for a hole-in-one in golf, if the person is trying for it and gets it that it is 100% skill with no luck involved. Any of you agree with that?
He did agree that most holes in one are lucky because the person wasn't trying to sink it...only trying to get it close to the cup. I say, unless the hole-in-one is on a miniature golf course, there is always an ELEMENT of luck...skill to get it close...luck that it goes in...even if you are trying to put it in.
I'm not a golfer, so perhaps I'm just wrong. For the record, he's not a golfer either.
