I've used your 5min hard/5 min easy, 10 min hard/10 min easy, "run to the barn" and several 3-4 minute surges during an easy run for several years now for general conditioning for all racing and I've been happy with the results. Do you recommend tweaking any of these runs as I prepare for my first marathon in June? My long run has been slightly bumped up in time/distance but otherwise I've just been continuing on with your HM workouts on Tue and Thu with a lot of other mileage.

I didn't know that I explicitly suggested those workouts before a thread from few weeks ago? Yes, I think those sessions are the 'meat and potatoes' of HM training. Good luck.
"Run to the barn" is a kind of tempo run. It is not a replacement for them. Remember your tempo runs can be anywhere between 2-10 miles, but generally 4-8 miles.
Ooops I see that it's a marathon, rather than a HM. I'll leave that HM commentary up, anyway.
YEs, of course you are going to want to tweak your training to accommodate the demands for a marathon. Long runs18-22 miles. As far as those specific sessions, feel free to tweak them. You should probably be running those at closer to marathon pace than HM pace. If you want to lengthen the hard/easy to 15/10 that's fine as well.
