No, not your favorite books. I've seen threads about 'greatest books you've read' and they usually turn into a pissing contest to find the most esoteric crap out there. I'm not looking for profound titles (unless that's what you're actually reading). Just curious to see what people out there are currently enjoying.

I was stuck at an airport recently, and picked up a copy of "The Big Short," by Michael Lewis. I'm enjoying it.
I'm hooked on amazon.com, which has turned me into something of an impulse book buyer. Today, I got a copy of "Everyone Loves You When You're Dead," by Neil Strauss. I read some great reviews of it, but it may be too hip for me. I'll see how it goes.
A couple of weeks ago, after a spirited (to say the least) debate on letsrun.com about Jim Ryun and Kip Keino, I ordered a used copy of Ryun's "In Quest of Gold: The Jim Ryun Story" through amazon.com. It cost $5. On the inside cover was the following inscription:
"To Mother & Dad,
Christmas - 1986
I love you both!
- Enjoy -
Shelley."
A few pages later, I came across another inscription:
"Go with God,
Jim Ryun
John 3:3-8."
I didn't expect to see that.
Most recent book I read was Killer Angels by Michael Shaara.
Really enjoyed it. Great read if interested in Gettysburg/Civil War.

I just reread Catcher in the Rye.
It has a great ending, I thought. Such a simple interaction with his young sister changed his impulsive decision to drop out of a conventional life-path.
