I've heard of some runners/coaches having good experience with this, but I wanted to see if anyone in the gallery has firsthand experience.
I'm referring to the moderate-pace training approach, where nearly all running is done progression style, or a little slower-than-marathon pace.
This interests me because I'm increasingly having trouble finding time to do serious mileage or workouts due to life: work, kids, wife, school, homework, coaching, etc. Doubles are out of the question most days.
I basically have an hour a day to run in the early morning (5AM-6AM). I sleep about 6 hours a night but can't do any less and be functional the next day.
I only do road races, 10KM or less. No marathons. If you've tried this, successfully or unsuccessfully, I'd love to hear about it.
