Hi guys. John Aris writing, and yes we are watching, but no not like hawks. i am far too busy with work and coaching. We actually love the thread so far, but of course expecting it to take a turn for the worst as always. As Rojo and Wejo correctly stated the last time this happened, if you're being smashed around on Letsrun, you're doing something right.
As we are on very good terms with those mentioned (yes, no longer with us), I will be happy to say that we think the world of them, and couldn't be happier that they have found career paths that they have dreamed of taking. Andrew McCann is family to my father and I, and he had the good fortune of being offered a job with Mizuno...landing him in Atlanta. Kaitlin was offreed a job in NYC in fashion design...a dream of hers which we were happy to see her pursue. Michael is one of the best people I know...and we enjoyed his time with us emmensely. What a talent! Sometimes cross country trips become stressors in people's lives, especially when that trip lands hem i. The snow capital of the US! this past winter has been perhaps the worst I have ever seen in Syracuse...finally over thank God!!!
We wish every one of these people well, and the truth is that the life of the post colleiate runner is not easy! Sometimes it doesn't work out, and sometimes it does. it should come as no surprise that injuries are a part of sports, life choices, career paths, etc. we support these people in life success as well as running success. It is a reality also that success must come by way of performance, or else why do we coach a post collegiate group?! We are very, very pleased with our growth in 2010 and early 2011. My father and I will continue to do all that we can to support and guide young adult talent to the very top should their hearts, minds, souls, and bodies allow and desire it!
Can't wait to keep reading, and while eventually these threads nearly always turn sour, I am impressed that it has stayedpositive for this long!

. We have a very inspiring group, and we are hopeful that one day we can join the ranks of the great McMillan Elite's, Hanson's, etc...it is upon their models that we have started!
We have a long way to go, and appreciate all the support we have gotten thus far.
All the best!
John
