First thread on this disappeared for some reason. Verzbicas is so money. He always delivers a great performance.
Funny thing is that these performances don't even surprise anymore. It's expected that he is going break or come very close to records.

What is grade 13?
That is graduating year. He is a sophomore.
Great so well have a kenyan as the american record holder soon.
Can't believe Cheserek stuck for that long into the race. Very impressive run for him.

Cause Lukas is a true 'Merican too.
Or is it just because he's black?

Which is unfortunate, because whenever he has a mediocre performance a million threads titled "LUKAS V. IS DONE" will pop up.
Just won the mile over Gedyon and Noelle 4:10.x
One life one love - Enrique
Neverming what H8er's say, ingnore them 'til they fade away - T.I.
I supposes we could put an (*) next to all the non-WASP record holders... sound fair?
Any video of the race?
any videos up?
Lukas said after the 2 mile that he didnt feel very good during the race... but felt better during his 4:10 that he closed in 27. He is incredible.

Lets do the German Fernandez fan club move and declare Lukas V. to be the record holder based on FAT vs hand time.
OK so where does rank as far as all-time best performance. i mean ryun, pre lindgren, virgin, german , chapa ,webb, ritz et al... where does this put Lukas.
After this performance, I HAVE to believe he will smash the outdoor HS record this spring - well under 8:34. I do believe so.
He won't be running outdoors, he is doing a last season of triathlon to try and win the world junior title.
