Holy effin schtick!!!
Holy effin schtick!!!
duh. WINNING!
Hasaymania!
did you see that KICK....over one of the best kickers in country!
Jordan...I didnt have her in the top 3!
nice surprise!...that was worth watching!
i hope they post the race so i can watch it again!
Van Dalen and Reid deserve to lose if they are going to let the race go that slow. Knowing what Hasay has been through at this meet, anything over 9.00 was just stupid - then they could have fought it out amongst themseleves.
Sounds to me like Reid just choked - hopefully she learns from this race.
Have to agree there... I would have thought Van Dalen at least should have pushed the pace. She had the fastest time going in and all her main rivals had already raced this weekend.
What happened?
After what Reid did in the DMR, why wouldn't she be confident that she could sit and kick?
Obviously, Hasay is beastly strong. Kudos to her!

In the DMR Reid was fresh, Jordan was not. In the 3K both had run a couple races and the "kick" was out of Reid's legs. Plus, Jordan had something to prove; wanted pay-back; wanted points for her team; and possibly wanted it more than Reid.
moved out to lane 3?
Reid's strategy was fine, i.e., wait and kick, considering her victory over Hasay yesterday. It just didn't work this time. Van Dalen, on the other hand, should have tried a long drive, at the very least. She knew she couldn't outkick either Hasay or Reid.
I have not seen that turnover speed by Jordan since the Oympic trials...on the final straight away tonight she gave a look behind to Reid to say not this time!
van Dalen moved with 800m to go. Thats a long way, very hard to do. Played into Hasays hands she ran a brilliant race. They all ran solid, Reid and van Dalen could have made that a 2 person race and they should have. Was a great race from 3 great competitors
She is bi-winning! Winning here(Mile) and winning over there(3000).

Yes, that was a real Statement move and race, she ran smart, and showed the heart of a true champion - you got me once, you are not getting me this time -- that last surge in the last 30 meters was classic and inspiring.
where are you watching the races?
Hasay is called Jordan
Reid is called Reid.

If they had gone out Hard, Hasay would have been right there with them. They couldn't have made it a two person race.
