He ran 10.50 in high school. Somehow I doubt he becomes a track star, but maybe he could surprise some people.

If nothing else he can make some good pocket change in his spare time.
he called out wallace spearmon.
Spearmon said: Man football speed isn't really the same as track speed. He's quick but Im fast. Entirely different world my dude
to which CJ replied: Beat bolt then holla at me
idk about you but i dont want any more cocky d-bags than there already are in USA track
My brother, a white soccer player, ran 10.49 as a senior in his first year of track, but went on to play D1 soccer. Chris Johnson aint nothin special.
Chris Johnson isn't even the best sprinter in the NFL anymore. If you watch the "Shaq Vs" relay, you'll see he got smoked by DeSean Jackson.
I'd love to see him show up at the Texas Relays. He'd get his ass whupped soooo bad.

White guys are runnin 9.98 now. whats your point?
He won't run any fast.times, but it could be good for.the.sport to have an NFL star going to meets and tweeting about it and such. And us real runners get to smile when he gets smoked.
His point was that his brother was faster in high school than Chris Johnson, and he is not a track star. So there is no reason to think Chris Johnson will be one.
Is it that confusing? wrote:

If that was indeed his point, then why did he add that he was white? His so called point would have gotten through if he left out the fact that he was white.
White boys can't sprint.

To Which Spearmon should have said: Beat the colts then holla at me

Right. THAT was hit point. His point wasn't just that 10.49 isn't good enough to be a track star, but that a WHITE guy ran 10.49 in high school, so why does Chris Johnson, who ran 10.50, think he can become a track star.
Is it really that confusing?
No one from the nfl could ever be a 'track star'
Too many steroids.
He really is proving that he is incredibly stupid.

Actually, if he could pass the drug tests, I'm sure steroids would help (assuming he's using them). Why wouldn't they? They help everyone else.
If this self-promoting guy could even get a qualifying time for Nationals, I'd bet that he wouldn't make it out of the heats.
I think he meant they will never pass the drug tests.
Jacoby Ford and Trindon Hooliday are the fastest NFLers right now. Actually their 10.01/10.00 is about as good as it's ever got in the NFL. That is unless you wanna saw Jimmy Hines as a real footballer.
Chris Johnson doesn't run against sprinters when he's carrying a football. Up against other sprinters he'd be very ordinary.
He would have to run pretty fast to earn enough in track to make the NFL minimum.
There have been numerous track stars play in the NFL. Many Olympians.
