Should I ask college coaches for the raw times I need to run?

Don't waste their time, don't waste yours. The number one rule for professional corrospendence.

Just look at what their athletes are currently running. If it's XC, look at their 5th-7th scoring positions. Try to get in shape to run that, and show up on the first day of practice. Even if they don't allow walk ons, they might make an exception if you can run with their scoring team members.

Can college coaches email prospects during the junior year? I know they cannot phone or speak with them prior to July 1 following the junior year.
