Last year I was clueless on what to do when doubling events and always felt like crap no matter what my second event. Usually it was mile then 800.
I have a meet next week and am doubling. My events will be over an hour apart. After that first event, what should I do? Should I do a cooldown, and if so how long? Then should I eat or drink anything and if so how much and of what? And then when it's getting close to my second event, do I do a full warmup since I've been resting for over an hour and am not loose anymore, or do I do a condensed warmup because I already ran?
