Trying to find a good resource on base training and increasing mileage.
I never heard of Jared McQueen but I sorta like his website:

Is he someone known? is his advice good? I read about malmo's post about not putting 25% of mileage into one run, so let's not discuss that. His figure may be adjusted downward a bit.
Regarding mid week medium long runs: would it be good to run these at progressive pace, finishing around MP? I like doing this on my long runs, but it may be 'too much' during base training, so I was wondering if progressive mid long run + weekly long run easy made sense. I am training for fall marathon btw
