2 xc AA, 3:40 and 13:44 as a soph. Now a 7:50 3ker. No one talks about him but he's pretty damn good.

I would agree that he is fairly underrated. Coming out of high school in 2008 with such big names as Fernandez, Derrick, Puskedra, Finnerty, and Lowe, he was definitely a talent, but didn't quite have the high school pedigree of those guys. At N.C. State he has quietly improved every year and has certainly made his case for being mentioned along side those he graduated with.
I believe he had a few off races this past year during cross country at his conference and regional meets, after his win at Paul Short I think people were expecting big things. So that could be why people are not as high on Hill as they are on others. But a big talent for sure, heck of a range, should be top ten in NCAA cross next year.

No.
What about Miley Batty? Total stud in XC and now a 3:55 miler (what is that, top5 all time??) and the BroJo's dont know who he is
I was pretty surprised they didn't know who batty was. Maybe it's just cause I'm a west coast guy but I've known who he was for at least a year or two now.
Bump. 3:57 split in the DMR at ACC's.
Ryan still must prove himself in the big races. When he ran that 7:50 3k, nearly the entire field in the race ran that as well. We will see how he does in Track this year. So far he has done ok.
if by the entire field you mean garrett heath, centro, and chelanga.
