So I'm having a child soon, and while my wife is busy thinking up boring names (Matthew, Timothy, Justin, etc) I'm trying to be innovative, but she just isn't buying it.
Our last name is Robinson - what if we named our kid (guy or girl) after some very large companies: Verizon Robinson, Google Robinson, Bimbo Robinson. Besides sounding great, if we approached these massive companies and said, "Hey, we just named our freakin' kid after your company - can you through us some sort of monthly cash since our kid is now a walking and walking advertisement for your ever expanding empire?"
First, should I push for our kid to be named after a major company?
Second, would a major company pay us for this legit advertising?
