I am 25 and am considering surgery on my calf muscles. Long story short, I have tried everything to fix the tightness in my calfs but now I can barley run 2 miles without agonizing pain during and long after the run. It pretty much has not gone away in 2 years. I have taken multiple months off in a row, stretched enormously, 4 months of physical therapy, taken electrolyte pills, taken iron pills, used the stick,, used calf compression socks. Nothing has worked.
Anyway is this too young to go under? Anyone have any experience with this and know if their are long term effects?
