quick question, and i know a lot comes into play here, but based on the following, can you give some insight?
pr'd a 5k in mid-nov, 17:10. (down about 40 sec from the start of the triathlon season).
have since been running around 60mi a week, two workouts a week in the past 6 weeks.
Recent faster workouts inlcude:
hard 6 miler last night, 35:12.
Track last week, 4x1200, 90 sec rest, ranged from 4:03 to 4:09
12x400m, 200 jog recovery, 1:13 ave for those.
Any thoughts on where things may stand now for 5k/10k?
FWIW my mileage up till that last 5k was lower (40ish a week), and no faster work.
