I was doing squats about a month ago and all of a sudden got a pain in my shoulder/upper back area, it really hurt that day, hurt to swallow, hurt to sneeze, etc. The next couple days it still hurt to swallow and sneeze. It also hurt to move my neck side to side.
After a while I was doing to just pain when I put my shoulder back and then tried to put my neck back and closer to the shoulder, like a sharp pain in my shoulder. Also it hurt when I would run (the up and down motion and the muscles moving up and down I guess?). I kept on running and lifting and it hurt during certain movements and runs.
Now it is a month later and it just hurts when I put my shoulder back on that side and put my neck back.
Strained intercostals? Something worse? Any suggestions to recover or any insight would be great!
