After the XC NCAA's Vin Lanana went on record and dissed the schools who put their major emphasis on XC. He said Oregon uses XC as a way to get ready for track. Interestingly enough, in Lukas' Gatorade interview with ESPN/Dyestat he talks about running both XC and track. In one of his big indoor races he wore yellow and green and his FB page had pictures of he and his Dad standing in front of the Bowermann statue. Anecdotal, but he's either going to Oregon or this is all an orchestrated effort to get everyone off track.

With this kind of irrefutable evidence, this is proof of one thing and one thing only . . . you have a career in celebrity and/or jocksniffing with such illustrious organizations as TMZ, Entertainment Tonight, or ESPN in the offing.

I see no reason that Lukas would go to Oregon.

That doesn't mean he's not going, just that it wouldn't make any sense.

Get real. You honestly think a lot of people in the real world are going to care that he pulled a fast one and got people to think he's going somewhere he isn't? But then again, trolling letsrun would make it all worth it. I should know.

Oral commitment is a horrible and blatant misnomer in the English language. Oral, having to do with the throat and mouth, has come to mean Verbal (or spoken), through constant improper usage. The straw that breaks the camels back is the legal community adopting the term oral to mean spoken.

Answer to your question, I think Lukas either mouthed Oregon or clicked Oregon with his teeth in Morse Code.

Maybe Oregon received an aural commitment, with their ears, when Lukas gave an oral commitment, with his throat and mouth.

Have they signed any distance studs other than him from this class? Otherwise Im wondering who will be at his level to train with?

Luke and Centro (not sure what his eligibility is like) for a year? There younger guys dont seem to be at that level, seems like a lot of their recent studs have been in other disciplines. I guess it doesnt make a difference if he isnt planning on staying for long.

Elias Geydon, Jeramy Elkiam, Chad Noelle, Matt Jonblonski...Lukas will have plenty to work with.
