the author, as well as authors of similar works, assume that the human body is incapable of evolving further. First prove that we cannot evolve further, then, only then is the idea even worth considering. If we are already perfect, it points to our being created by a master engineer, does it not? Or does our ability to continuously adapt and evolve point to a master engineer? Food for thought.
